Your adventure begins at Denny’s marine, where the water taxi ride to Bear’s Landing will give you your first experience with our well loved lake.

Our picturesque waterfront setting boasts 330 feet of shoreline.  Tucked into the shade amid gentle birch and age old pine, Bears Landing boasts a spacious deck overlooking the shoreline.   Enjoy the comfortable patio furniture and BBQ for your convenience.

Peaceful views, and all day sunshine at the large dock promise a sunset you just won’t want to miss!   Kahshe Lake panoramic views from Bears Landing are second to none.

This 2 acre property is well suited for those nature lovers, adventurers fisherman, photographers, bird watchers or those who just wish to kick back and relax.

For our winter snowmobiling guests, keep in mind OFSC trails intersect on Kahshe Lake, Snowcrest 4…OFSC TOP “D” Trail runs right past the cottage.

The marina where you’ll dock the boat is less than 5 minutes from Highway 11, so a trip into the charming town of Gravenhurst is a short one and you’ll find groceries, an LCBO, craft stores and restaurants here. A little further afield are some local attractions that shouldn’t be missed – the Muskoka Wildlife Centre, the famous Muskoka Store (both right off the highway), and don’t forget to take a trip into Bracebridge to eat out in one of the many cafes and restaurants.

For the Nature Lover and Extreme Hiking Enthusiast, the Cottage is accessible by foot. There is no official trail to the Cottage, however the area surrounding it are Crown Lands.

Inside the Cottage

o Smoke Free (No Smoking is allowed in the cottage)

o 2 bedrooms + Den – Queen, Single Bunks, Single/King Day Bed.

o Enjoy a nice shower or soak in the tub in the clean modern bathroom.

o Large kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, cook top, fridge, microwave & dishwasher.
o Open plan living room and dining room
o Dining area with seating for 6-8
o Satellite  Television and DVD Player for a rainy day
o Gas BBQ (Propane)

Outside the Cottage

o Large Furnished Deck with Umbrella
Aluminum Boat and Motor for touring the lake and/or fishing is included. The boat may also be used to return to the marina for trips into town. Please check in with the marina office for mooring at the dock or space may be available at the government dock. At the end of your stay, you will need to call the water taxi for pick up.
o 2 Man ride-on Kayak is on site.
o 5 Person Peddle/Paddle Boat is on site.
o Life Jackets are supplied. Since there are many sizes and shapes we cannot guarantee a life jacket will be available for all. If you feel more comfortable knowing you will have a Life Jacket that fits, please bring one with you.
o North-West facing deck
o Lighted Waterfront dock with East, West and North Views of the Lake
o Sandy shallow lake entry and a Deep Area also
o Fire pit on the Point.

* A pleasure Craft Operators Certificate is required for all motorized boating in Ontario
